The Approach
We believe that knowledge and skills are within the individual. Effective leadership coaching creates space to uncover the self-awareness necessary to develop a client’s authentic self. That awareness stems from feedback and introspection for self-discovery, thus creating possibilities for experiences and learning.
The "Experience"
The experience is designed by both the client and the coach (co-active coaching). Plans might be outlined, and goals defined. The client brings the “agenda” for each session. The agenda may include progress towards defined goals or challenges impeding progress, issues that are present, opportunities that need to be pursued, follow up from previous commitments or meetings, upcoming important decisions, or ideas that are in a state of pondering. The coach and client build a relationship of trust and respect. Direct communication featuring active listening and thought-provoking questioning provides space for growth. Stretching and taking risks to learn are part of the process as we explore plans, actions, and goals.
The Outcomes
The intended result for each client is individual growth, development, and a new life-changing perspective. Clients will have their own experiences and grow at different rates and patterns. Our objective is for each person to become more intentional with their choices and decisions, become more creative in their leadership approach and perspective, and improve their leadership consciousness to have a lasting positive impact on themselves and others.
