Vistage Overview

Vistage & Tim’s role as a Vistage Chair
Vistage’s entire focus is on studying CEO performance and developing resources to help executives achieve better results. Exclusive peer-advisory group meetings help members become better leaders and in turn grow their businesses.
As a Vistage Chair, I facilitate monthly meetings of about a dozen high-caliber executives, business owners, and CEOs in a confidential setting. I also provide individual coaching sessions for each member. My goal in both cases is to take the pressure off, remove anxiety, and make it easy for members to openly discuss the problems they face so we can identify the true issues and work to find a way to resolve them.
I understand that the role of a business leader carries its own burden of responsibility. That’s where Vistage comes in. Group members have your back, supporting you with advice, data, and real-world experience. Plus, you get access to world-class speakers on a variety of topics relevant to today’s marketplace.
A 2017 study of Dun & Bradstreet data found that Vistage member companies grew 2.2 times faster than average small and midsize U.S. businesses. In 2008, coming out of the Great Recession, Vistage companies grew at 5.8% when like-sized companies did not fare as well, performing at -9.2%. Through a combination of peer advisory, executive coaching and training, and enrichment opportunities, Vistage creates better, more insightful leaders.
In difficult times, as well as operating in a “normal” environment, being a part of Vistage will be a learning opportunity, benefiting you as a leader, your company and your family. Being a Vistage will change your life.
Currently, there are openings in my Vistage CEO group in the Charlotte area. I’m seeking individuals who are bold, courageous, open-minded, and desire the support and guidance necessary to expand their business. If that’s you, please reach out to me at tim.gustafson@vistagechair.com and let’s talk about how my Vistage group can help you resolve issues and grow your business.
